Visualise your fully-automated data architecture for straight-through processing with the Flow view.
Flow gives you a live view of how data moves through your Quantemplate environment. It shows incoming data sources, pipelines, datasets, reports, downstream destinations and automation statuses in a single visual interface.
You can use Flow to:
Open a pipeline and select the Flow tab.
The Flow view displays the current pipeline in the centre of the architecture map, along with all connected inputs and outputs.
Hovering over an item displays metadata and allows quick navigation to the connected resource.
The currently selected pipeline appears in the centre of the Flow.
Pipelines can receive data from:
They can also output data to:
Pipelines with automation enabled display a robot icon. These pipelines can automatically:
Feeds connected to third parties display the connected organisation’s logo.
Feed statuses are shown directly in the Flow view. For example:
This helps you to understand the state of your upstream data immediately, without navigating away from the Flow.
Datasets are represented using the dataset icon.
Datasets can:
API-connected datasets are indicated with the purple API icon.
Flow uses different line styles to indicate connection behaviour.
Hovering over connected inputs highlights the pipeline stages that consume that data. This helps you understand where data enters or exits the process.
The highlighted stage colours correspond to the stages shown in the pipeline panel.
Flow is not just a static architecture diagram. Statuses update live while pipelines are running.
When a pipeline enters a running state:
This provides immediate visibility into the status of your data and activity across your platform architecture.
